Housewright designed and built this home in Newbury, Vermont. This 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath home with attached 2.5 bay garage features wide plank pine flooring and salvaged antique beams in the main living area. The Rumford-style fireplace was built from stone that was blasted from the house site pre-construction. The kitchen cabinetry is made of pine with a pickled white finish. A sheltered terrace off the living room provides a weather-protected spot from which to enjoy views of New Hampshire's White Mountains and a covered grilling terrace off the kitchen/dining area allows for convenient, comfortable year-round barbecuing. The master bath has radiant heat beneath the natural stone floor, a lovely 5-foot soaking tub and a two-person, subway-tiled walk-in shower. Radiant heat is also beneath the stone floors of the entry/mudroom and the 4-season sun room (screened window in the summer months and glass windows during the colder months).
