Vermont Business Magazine (VBM) and KeyBank recognized Craig Hervey Housewright Construction, Inc. as a 2019 Vermont Business Growth Award recipient during a celebration held on September 17, 2019 at the Hilton Hotel Burlington. Governor Phil Scott presented the awards to each of the 25 recognized businesses and the audience was entertained by the Burlington improv group, Vermont Comedy Club Touring Company. Craig & Lisa Hervey, Owen Berry, Jodi Ovens and Jeff Page represented Housewright Construction at this fun event.
VBM performs an annual survey of Vermont businesses and uses the sales data from the previous year to identify the largest Vermont companies. Using this data, VBM publishes the annual Vermont 100+ list in its January issue. With 32 years of data now available for analysis, they can identify the fastest growing businesses over five-year periods ranging from five to thirty years. The Vermont Business Growth Awards are presented to the 25 companies whose business has grown the fastest over the past five years. Appearing on the list for the first time, Housewright Construction was ranked #10 with a five-year growth rate of 153.3%. John Boutin, Publisher of Vermont Business Magazine, says, “The great thing to remember about this award is that the companies being recognized are not being judged, they are recognized by looking at the data that VBM accumulates.”
