Our Relationship with the Land
Though he would never boast about it, our president and founder Craig Hervey has a special gift. We jokingly call him “The Land Whisperer,” but it really isn’t a joke. Craig can stand in the middle of thorny brambles, scraggly trees or soaring pines and see the landscape as it could be—with your new home nestled into a tree line as if it had been there for a hundred years.
Hills and valleys, ledge and streams, land speaks in rhythms and rhymes. Craig knows how to listen and will share the knowledge with you.
Are you considering buying property for your new home construction?
Craig can provide consulting services to evaluate the site. Before you buy, you should know if the land is "friendly" to building. Given grade, drainage and other factors, where could the driveway and septic fields be placed? If infrastructure costs are prohibitive, the "lovely" piece of land you're considering may be far less attractive.
